About Monica

My first year in college I gained 15 lbs.  This was due to my poor eating habits and lack of physical activity.  I wanted to lose weight so I decided to start running which led me to my first half Marathon.  When I crossed the finish line I decided that I wanted to help others like I helped myself. Another major inspiration I had was when I went to Ohio to visit my grandpa. He is in his 80s and he plays chair volleyball with his friends. His inspiration lead me to became a Certified Personal Trainer CPT through NASM in 2014. My passion for children led me to become a 4th grade teacher. 

I decided to merge my love for children and senior citizens together and specialize in these areas.  Throughout my fitness career, I learned a lot of various training techniques to meet the needs of my clients. I'd love to design the best training plan and help you achieve your fitness goals!
